Psychic Pimps
For years I've been raving and ranting to anyone who would listen, how most psychic websites are the pimps of the 'psychic universe.' Clients might 'think' that advisors on certain psychic website are raking in the cash, but the sad truth is that we are definitely NOT! It's the big psychic websites/phone lines who are grabbing anywhere from 55%-90% of the earnings of their independent contractors/aka Psychic Ho's.
Some pimps are better than others--
I've found one or two psychic sites that only charge a 35% commission, but those are few and far between and usually the client traffic is slow. However, the client traffic can also be slow to dead contracting for the pricey pimps (who probably wear those shiny suits).
Getting paid can be another thorn in a spiritual contractor's side: I worked for a certain phone line back in the 1990's for a week and had several hundred dollars owed to me. Guess What?! That phone line never ever paid me, and I had been out the expense of having a separate phone line installed in my home. Karma is a bitch though because that non-paying, trifling company got sued big time and went out of business. Oh well.....I'm sure that 'psychic pimp' messed over a whole slew of others beside just me.
Another site I've worked for liked to hold on to their contractors (I mean psychic ho's) monies for sometimes five weeks at a time. That's called earning interest, which of course the psychic ho never gets to share in that honey pot. Eventually they would pay their contractors after a couple of heated days being bombarded with emails. Then for maybe 8-10 months the business would pay on time like clockwork (that's a good pimp) and BOOM month 11-12 would roll around and payday would get pushed back again. This translates also into 'we need to look good for stockholders' or the main pimp needs a new yacht trimmed in gold.
I know I'm being sarcastic here, but one thing I do know from years of experience is that most of these companies who are in the psychic trade think the following:
Ladies, gentlemen feel free to comment (please add your experiences)
- One of the biggest names in the business charges clients $5.99 per. min. while paying their psychic contractors only .34 cents (yes you heard me) CENTS a minute!
- Another site charges their psychic contractors a per minute connection fee for chat technology that's been used for the past 15 years! This fee is in addition to a heftly commission rate which is taken at a per minute rate.

- That anyone in the psychic business is a greedy fraud.
- That we psychics are all stupid, otherwise why wouldn't we be doctors or lawyers!?
- That we psychics like giving away free stuff and our hard-earned cash.

Welcome
Welcome to my very first PSYCHIC RANT! There are many topics that I'm fired up about as one of many independent psychic-spiritual advisors at large. Hopefully this blog will serve as an exciting forum for others in the spiritual biz to share experiences and rant along with me!
